Bee Off Bugs Balm

We don't spray chemicals on our farm, so it seemed like a good idea not to spray them on our kids! But what's one to do when one of the kids is a mosquito magnet? Over a number of months we experimented with different essential oils until we came up with one that works for mozzies and big whopping farm flies...and all in a handy beeswax stick.

We use a combination of oils from lemongrass to lavender, citronella to geranium in a base of soya bean oil (yes..soya bean oil has its own bug repelling qualities!), other organic oils, organic cocoa butter, and of course, our sun-melted beeswax. It's a handy purse-size, easily applied by kids and adults alike. 17gms. Use within 12 months.
