Fair Trade Toy Hippo made in India

This is 'Heather' the Hippo, who is the second in the series of custom Fair Trade toy Indian Elephant that I have been designing for the Bluemango Fair Trade organization in India.

Their craftsmanship(or should I say "craftLADYship?) is exquisite and the fabrics are stunning! I am so excited to offer you these beautiful toys, knowing these toys are a part of the Bluemango organization's income generating program which assists destitute women in the south of India to gain financial independence. The women work on treadle machines for the most part, and their products are sold to boutiques within India as well as to Fair Trade Companies abroad.

Toy Size
The hippo is 28cm/11 inches long from forehead to tail, and stands 19cm/8 inches tall.

PLEASE NOTE*** Colours will vary according to availability as the Fair Trade organization cannot order in the huge quantities required by the fabric manufacturers and so the fair Trade ladies are only able to source 'end of line runs' of fabric.
