This Lencan Ceramic Necklace is handmade by the Lencan Indigenous group in Honduras. The pieces are handmade using locally available materials and fired in traditional clay ovens. Global Exchange partners with ACTA in Honduras. ACTA is supporting 14 indigenous, Lencan, communities and 2 rural communities. Its main beneficiaries are 540 women. Each one of them represents a family for a total of 2,700 beneficiaries, the majority of Lencan ethnic origin.
