Pure Seacell Handspun - Made From Seaweed - 201yds

When I heared that they can make spinning fiber from pure seaweed I just had to try spinning some for myself! I'm so glad I did, because it was pure pleasure to spin.

Seacell makes extremely soft and lustrous yarn, with excellent body and drape.

I did some research and it turns out that the fiber is made using similar methods as rayon, except that this fiber is 100% natural.

Yarn Stats:

Length: 184m/201yds
Weight: 100g/3.5oz
Thickness: Spun a little thick and thin, but overall about DK
Fiber: 100% Seacell (seaweed)
Colour: light beige
Washing: Handwash in warm soapy water, do not rub.
I noticed when preparing this yarn that seacell has a seaweed smell when wet, however the smell almost completely disappears when dry.
