Rainbow Dancing Dress

Here is the first of my new line of Upcycled Dancing Dresses.

Treat you daughter, to a fabulous fun floaty rainbow dress, that just simply inspires one to dance.

This gorgeous dress is a good size for an young girl 8-10, or 11 if small for her age.
The singlet top was a girls size 8 Australian.

I tried it on three local girls, two of whom modelled it for me in these photos the taller girl is 11, and I think fairly tall for her age whereas the smaller is 10 and small for her age. It measures 26.5" (67cm) waist and 27" (68cm) from under the arm to the lowest point.

I bought myself a wonderful Dancing Dress recently, a beautiful handmade, dream of a dress, and when I wear it I am inspired to get up and dance.

It has taught me how to make the dresses I always tried to make, by cutting up old clothes and re sewing them into new creations.

The delightful ribbon additions have been sewn onto brooch pins, so they can be taken off when washing dress.
