Recycled Cement Laptop Bag

The PPC cement bag is a laptop bag, with a difference and is 100% South African.

HOW: It is made out of unused Pretoria Portland Cement paper bags (www.ppc.co.za). The making process is quite long: first the unused paper bag is opened and the various paper layers are separated. Then the top and third layers of paper are fused and bonded with black cotton to make the paper strong and the bag EXTREMELY DURABLE. Once this has been done the material can be treated as a fabric and the pattern drawn, cut and the bag stitched.

INSIDE: There are two sections and two pockets. One pocket is large enough to carry laptop cables whilst the other is the right size for either an iphone or mouse. The divider is padded and separates the laptop from notes or other belongings would be carried in the bag. The base and side of the bag is also padded with foam to protect your laptop.

CLOSURE: With two hidden magnets on the flap.

TREATMENT: The outside surfaces of the bag are Scotch Guarded to be water resistant. With this treatment the bag has been successfully tested in the rain and snow.

The strap of the bag is cotton webbing. This is adjustable.

SIZE: The maximum laptop size that can fit inside this bag is a 15.5".
